Still Coming

Running a little late—but maybe that’s how good things are made.

I got an email from the factory last week.

The new toothpaste tablets, which was supposed to be on its way by now, is delayed again.

They told me we could rush the shipment if we wanted to, but it would mean cutting corners on quality — and that’s one of the few things I just can’t compromise on.

I sighed a little.

We were really hoping to restock before Black Friday, and the thought of seeing that “Sold Out” sign pop up was already nagging at me.

Later that same day, another email landed in my inbox.

It was from a woman who had spent two weeks in the hospital this summer after a breast cancer diagnosis.
She wrote:

“All I wanted back then was to brush my teeth. My friend brought your mouthwash tablets to the hospital, and I loved them so much.”

Reading that line, I just stopped for a moment.
Suddenly, the delay didn’t feel like a business problem anymore.
It felt like a gentle tap on the shoulder — a reminder that what we make isn’t just inventory.

There’s someone out there who understands what we’re trying to do,
and I want to keep making things worthy of that understanding.

So yes, our new toothpaste tablets are still on the way.
Production took longer than we expected,
but maybe that’s actually fine.
Maybe taking that extra time is exactly what we needed to do it right.

At home, my kids still use the old batch every night — all giggles and foamy messes.
The world seems to be racing toward the end of the year,
but here, in our little corner,
we’re simply moving at our own pace.
